ABOUT

Gregory Harms is an independent scholar long specializing in US foreign policy in the Middle East. He lectures, keeps a blog, and publishes articles on CounterPunch, Truthout, Mondoweiss, and Juan Cole's blog, Informed Comment. Harms has traveled throughout Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza, as well as other areas in the Middle East. He has been interviewed on BBC Radio and various podcasts.

He is the author of four books:

• The Palestine-Israel Conflict: A Basic Introduction, 4th ed. (Pluto Press, 2017)

• Straight Power Concepts in the Middle East (Pluto Press, 2010)

• It's Not about Religion (Perceval Press, 2012)

• No Politics, No Religion? (Political Animal Press, 2022)

Harms has taught philosophy as an adjunct professor for the last decade; his areas of specialization are moral and political philosophy. His area of interest and research is human nature.
