ABOUT

Gregory Harms is an independent scholar long specializing in US foreign policy in the Middle East. He lectures, keeps a blog, and publishes articles on CounterPunch, Truthout, Mondoweiss, and Juan Cole's blog, Informed Comment. Harms has traveled throughout Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza, as well as other areas in the Middle East. He has been interviewed on BBC Radio and various podcasts.

He is the author of four books:

• Straight Power Concepts in the Middle East (Pluto Press, 2010)

Harms has taught philosophy as an adjunct professor for the last decade; his areas of specialization are moral and political philosophy. His area of interest and research is human nature.
